Your new companyA government body based in central Brighton is recruiting a Team Administrator to support their Corporate Governance team. This is an 8-week temporary position, with hybrid working (2 days/week in the office). The organisation have recently moved into new offices, with a modern and calm feel to them. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for their first step into Corporate Governance or to gain exposure to support at board level.Your new roleIn this role, you'll provide administrative support to the governance team and Non-Executive Directors. This will mainly consist of tasks relating to diary management, Board & Committee meetings, as well as creating/updating documents and files. Key duties include:
* Preparing and distributing agendas, maintaining team action log
* Scheduling meetings and sending calendar invites
* Attending board and committee meetings
* Process expenses
* Updating documents & templates
* Inbox management, responding to and forwarding emails
* Monitoring intranet pages and SharePoint site, updating as required
