About The Role
As an M&S Opticians Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales performance, building customer awareness, and growing the business while ensuring an exceptional customer experience. Your leadership will be key in managing a high-performing team, including clinical professionals, and fostering a culture of excellence. With a strong understanding of sales delivery and business growth, you will take ownership of the store’s success, utilising your commercial awareness and strategic thinking to maximise performance.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead, onboard, and develop team members to reach their full potential
2. Lead the promotion of M&S Opticians throughout the store to drive customer engagement
3. Maintain high sales performance while ensuring excellent customer service
4. Manage resources effectively to maximise sales and conversions
5. Build strong working relationships with the clinical professionals in store to optimise their contribution to sales and service
6. Work towards achieving Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and sales targets
7. Implement company policies, procedures, and systems efficiently
8. Identify and implement strategies for business growth and customer retention
9. Ensure compliance with data protection, safeguarding, and company policies
