What skills and experience we're looking for
We are looking for an inspiring teacher to work within our Enhanced Resource Unit (ERS) who is able to ensure our students achieve success.
You will ensure students reach their potential both academically and socially so they are ready to take their next steps into the community and employment once they leave us.
Classes are small compared to mainstream school. The post will suit a teacher who will take ownership of their subjects and who is willing to be flexible to meet the needs of the pupils. You will work as part of a wider team of specialist SEND teachers and teaching assistants to provide a rounded educational journey within a supportive environment for our students.
We would welcome applications from candidates who have a background in SEND or are looking to develop their careers into this specialism.
Primary-trained candidates are also encouraged to apply. We are looking for a passionate person with excellent communication skills and the desire to make a difference to the academic outcomes and life chances of our students as they prepare for adulthood. Applications are sought from high-calibre professionals who have the skills and talent to support our academy.
This role is permanent for 32.5 hours per week (part-time/job share available).
