Treatment room skills:Phlebotomy, dressings, vaccinations, health checks / promotion. The role will involve, but not be limited to you performing the above. What youll need: A minimum of 6 months paid experience in an Acute hospital environment within the last 3 years Comply with NMC Professional Registration and keep up to date with current nursing practices Qualifications or IT skills required: Good IT skills, ability to learn new systems ( EMIS Web in particular) Essential skills: Good written and verbal / communication skills - Good organisational skills IT skills including Outlook, Excel and Word Ability to liaise with patients Good understanding of the General Data Protection Act Good communication skills with an empathetic approach High levels of emotional resilience Ability to work under pressure in a calm manner Desirable skills: Desire to attend courses relating to role, as appropriate.
