The Stock Coordinator is responsible for the control and disposal of unsalvageable parts and expired parts and products while also overseeing inventory for our Landing Gear MRO department. This position ensures that all necessary parts and materials are accurately stocked, tracked, and available to support maintenance and repair activities. Tasks The key responsibilities and duties of the Stock Coordinator include, but are not limited to: Controlling and managing the handling and storage of unsalvageable/scrap parts according to defined processes. Ensuring that scrap parts are moved to the designated scrap storage area in compliance with established procedures. Coordinating with product lines to ensure scrap parts are available for customer viewing. Collaborating closely with product lines to support customer requirements. Working with product lines and finance to ensure timely disposal of scrap parts. Maintaining documentation for scrap parts as per defined processes. Monitoring the remaining shelf life of parts and products with limited shelf life. Disposing of parts or products nearing expiration in accordance with defined procedures. Promoting required standards of work. Upholding and maintaining standards of general housekeeping. Controlling and managing the process of taking pictures of scrap parts. Requirements The ideal Candidate should meet the following requirements: The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and proactive, with a solid understanding of inventory management and supply chain logistics within the aviation industry Equivalent to GCSE A-C grades Good knowledge, awareness and understanding of PPE It would be preferable but not essential for the applicant to have worked in an aerospace environment Confident IT skills including Microsoft Office An awareness of the Major Accident Prevention plan (MAPP) Team player who is also able to work autonomously Excellent time management skills Strong organisational skills Ability to forge strong relationships with other teams across the business Flexibility required as may be require to work additional overtime hours Working with computers and screens for prolonged periods Mandatory Training will be required Please note you must currently be eligible to work and remain indefinitely without any restrictions in the UK.
