Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Head of Performance Marketing to lead our digital marketing efforts and drive growth through performance marketing strategies.
This is a full-time role, requiring a minimum of 3 days on-site at our Howden location.
Key responsibilities include:
Strategy: Develop and implement performance marketing strategies across paid search, paid social, and organic channels, leveraging data insights to inform decision-making.
Leadership: Provide expert guidance and leadership to the marketing team, identifying opportunities and challenges to inform strategy and tactics.
Customer: Lead customer acquisition and retention efforts, maximizing engagement, retention, and growth through our channel mix.
Management: Manage and motivate the existing marketing team, driving growth and development.
Agency Management: Lead and manage our digital media agency, ensuring effective collaboration and results.
Reporting: Create and provide regular reports on ROI, campaign performance, conversion patterns, and website traffic to inform optimization efforts.
Performance Analysis: Analyze and lead performance, understanding the details and effectiveness of each campaign and adopting a continuous test and learn approach.
Data Analysis: Develop optimization plans through analysis of large data sets, collaborating with the agency and BI teams.
Budget Management: Advise on and allocate digital marketing budgets, continuously analyzing spend and recommending changes to ensure optimization, KPI performance, and revenue targets.
Team Working: Collaborate with cross-functional colleagues and teams to deliver overall ecommerce and marketing performance.
Compliance: Maintain high standards, ensuring compliance with GDPR and accessibility requirements.
Requirements include:
Experience: A successful track record in performance marketing or digital marketing, with a focus on paid spend optimization across different categories and channels.
Skills: Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Google Package, META, Affiliate Networks, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, and VOD.
Leadership: Proven leadership experience, with a track record of managing teams and driving growth.
Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present and work cross-functionally at board level.
Commercial: Knowledge and experience of working within a trading/commercial environment, including supplier and third-party activities.
Qualifications: +5 years' experience in a senior performance marketing/trading role.
