Account Specialist – Gastro TEAM BUILD (Kent, Surrey, Sussex)
* Hiring for multiple new positions within our Gastroenterology team, due to the expansion of our product portfolio.

* Travel: Yes, 75% across territory

This is a highly exciting Account Specialist role in a new team build, covering Kent, Surrey and Sussex. The ideal candidate will be dynamic and have high business acumen, using data smartly to make sound business decisions. They will be able to work with a cross-functional account team, to yield maximum opportunity. Key responsibilities:
* Performance
o Deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual expected volume/sales growth and performance for territory in line with agreed goals and objectives.
o Own local market data and role model high business acumen.
* Customer Focus
o Use of a ‘best in class’ Customer Engagement Skills model.
o Engagement with an ‘Advanced Customer Engagement’ model, including adoption ladders, segmentation, and hypertargeting.
o Excellence in execution of key stakeholder meetings to drive maximum impact.

o Clinical and Market Knowledge Development; Demonstrates in depth disease, product, market, and competitive intelligence expertise.

o Own your own development/talent plan with your line manager and proactively develop any required competencies to drive your goals and aspirations.
o Has a deep understanding of the multi-stakeholder environment.
* Territory Management
o Regularly analyse and report on sales performance, to facilitate ongoing data and insight driven decision making.
o Develop an Integrated Account Management (IAM) plan for own territory with cross functional partners, to optimally execute the brand strategy in line with local opportunities.
o Drives an innovative mindset of the territory team, to identify opportunities to leverage, and create solutions to overcome barriers.
Qualifications
* Experience within a commercial sales role, with relevant secondary care setting sales experience is preferred, but not essential.
* Gained the ABPI Medical Representative’s Exam (or equivalent) within first two years of employment as a representative. Representatives new to the pharmaceutical industry must take an appropriate exam within their first year of employment as a representative.
* Experience in building long-term customer relationships.
* Promote ongoing internal learning agility and Continuous Professional Development for self and others, demonstrating a growth mindset.
* Practical knowledge and understanding of customer requirements.
