Responsibilities:
* To confidently work within ISO9001: 2015, and ISO4001: 2018 management systems and be a fully trained auditor, both internal and vendor auditing.
* Develop new suppliers to support Freudenberg Flow Technologies' strategic plans.
* Drive improvement utilizing Lean methodologies, supplier scorecards and own the supplier audit activity, ensuring supplier compliance.
* Issue audit reports, ensuring they are followed up for closure and subsequent improvements are identified and implemented.
* Track the supplier's performance indicators, based on their scorecards and rankings, to facilitate and develop the supply base's ability to consistently meet or exceed defined expectations.
* Develop positive relationships and work closely with sourcing leaders to manage, implement and track supplier/engineering, design changes and transfers.
* Responsible for leading the solution for supplier component concerns, driving Advanced Quality Planning (AQP), Freudenberg Part Approval Process (PPAP), customer interaction, Value Analysis/Value Engineering (VA/VE) support, supplier component development and approval.
* Work with Engineering (Design and Manufacturing Engineers) team to define process parameters and criteria to ensure supplier capability is effective to meet product and process requirements.
* Deliver results as measured by key metrics, such as supplier field defect rate, supplier quality plan engagement/effectiveness, and corrective & preventative action closure.
Qualifications:
* Degree or equivalent in an engineering/manufacturing related discipline.
* Effective professional employing quality tools and methodologies i.e. JIT, APQP, PPAP, 8D, Pareto charts and statistical data.
* Experienced auditor of ISO9001: 2015, ISO14001: 2015 and ISO45001: 2018 management systems. Preferably being a Lead Auditor.
* Experience with SAP would be a distinct advantage.
* Special process experience is key; heat treatment coating, welding and NDE.
* Numerically astute with strong problem-solving skills and expertise to develop and execute objectives for self and others and the ability to effect short-term and long-term business goals.
