We are looking to recruit a well organised secretary to provide comprehensive efficient secretarial/administrative who wishes to develop their skills to support to the Division.
As a key member of the Division of Medicine you will be part of an experienced and supportive team responsible for providing a first class service to the Senior Leadership Team, Consultants, Matrons, Ward Managers and other key members of the Division of Medicine.
Applicants should have a flexible approach to work with the ability to work with minimal supervision, prioritise work and deal with complex/sensitive issues. An understanding of information governance/confidentiality procedures and knowledge of records management processes are also important aspects of the post., Applicants should be able to demonstrate excellent communication, organisational and team working skills and have experience of supporting and encouraging others whilst working in a demanding office/customer service environment.
The successful applicant will be required to have previous secretarial experience, have the ability to take concise minutes and have an excellent working knowledge/understanding of Microsoft Office applications, including the use of databases. The successful applicant will also be required to have GCSE English Language qualification or equivalent.
The post requires excellent organisational skills, and requires the ability to work independently, frequently exercising tact, discretion, initiative, and judgement.
