The ideal candidate will have experience in database architecture, SQL development, and data analysis to optimize database performance and support our organization's data needs. Key Responsibilities: Design and implement complex database solutions based on business requirements. Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and functions. Ensure data integrity, security, and performance across databases. Conduct performance tuning of databases, query optimization, and indexing strategies. Monitor and improve database performance and scalability. Create and maintain data structures to support reporting and analytics. Develop ETL processes to transform data from various sources into usable formats. Collaborate with data analysts and stakeholders to support data reporting needs. Perform regular database maintenance, including backups, restores, and data migration. Troubleshoot database issues, identify root causes, and implement solutions. Ensure compliance with data security policies and procedures. Education : Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or good experience in related field. Required Skills and Experience: Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with database systems such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, or SQL Server. Experience with database design, normalization, and data modeling. Knowledge of ETL processes and data integration tools (e.g., SSIS, Informatica, or Talend). Familiarity with data warehousing, reporting, and BI tools like Power BI, Tableau, or SSRS. Good experience as an SQL Database Developer or similar role. Proven experience with database optimization, including indexing and query performance tuning. Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git). Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Excellent communication skills to work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Preferred Qualifications: Familiarity with cloud database solutions (e.g., AWS RDS, Azure SQL Database). Experience in data warehousing or Big Data environments. Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, R, or Java.
