18 hours 45 minutes over Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday.
We are looking for a highly motivated, enthusiastic Management Secretary to join our Service. We provide frontline mental health services to people who are suffering from a mental health problem on our Older People Inpatient Wards. The successful applicant will be reliable and able to provide a confidential, quality secretarial support to the Modern Matron.
A high standard of word processing is essential and you will be experienced in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. Knowledge of Electronic Staff Records (ESR) would be a distinct advantage. Attention to detail is essential and also supporting and mentoring colleagues. Applicants should have the ability to deal with people at all levels in a calm, polite and professional manner and should possess excellent oral and written communication skills.
The role will include support with the preparation and collation of data and statistics for service reporting.

Main duties of the job
Main Duties / Responsibilities
Care Group Management and Leadership Team Support
Provide comprehensive secretarial and administrative support to the Modern Matronas appropriate
Deal with routine correspondence and telephone calls on behalf of the Modern Matron
Diary management for Modern Matron including proactive preparation of documents and papers for agreed meetings as directed
Email management for the Modern Matron as required and agreed
To provide administration support to identified work within the pathway as requested
Assist the Modern Matron with the recruitment and selection process; compiling candidate letters, arranging interview dates, ensuring all documentation for successful candidates is received.
Distribute relevant information to internal and external organisations on behalf of the Modern Matron
Prepare and coordinate new staff inductions
To undertake any duties in line with the Modern Matron or service's requirements as requested.
Ensuring administration tasks are completed in a timely manner, including booking meetings, events and meeting rooms.
Supporting the Modern Matron with requests for information.
