Management, monitoring, and purchasing of the business’s stock requirements, ensuring goods are in stock and available for purchase. Organising purchase orders with factories, and ensuring shipments arrive in full and on time to critical paths. Supporting the product team with new stock orders, negotiating pricing with suppliers and reaching out for potential tender opportunities with factories. Supporting the procurement administrator in ensuring all business purchase requirements are met.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Inventory management
2. Placing purchase orders
3. Regular reporting and updates to ensure good communication throughout internal teams
4. Organising logistics with global suppliers to the UK, EU and US
5. Ensuring good functionality of our global factories through service levels and output
6. Adding value through proposing and implementing process improvements
7. Data analysis on seasonality and best sellers, providing insight for decision making
8. Reporting of OKR Targets and KPI performance
9. Regularly negotiating pricing with suppliers
10. Supporting the product team with new launches
11. Running a weekly stock meeting and updating the directors on any requirements to purchase or issues with supply
12. Supervisory role over the Procurement Admin team ensuring the department runs smoothly.
Minimum Requirements:
1. Over 5 GCSEs grade A*-C/9-4
2. Degree in fashion and buying preferred.
4 years experience within a similar buying role or stock management role at another company.
