We are looking for an Accounts Manager to join an established privately owned business based in Sunderland. You will join a supportive team working closely with Commercial and Operations Teams as well as supporting the MD in day to day duties.\n\nProviding overall support to the Management team, this is a fantastic opportunity to join a reputable and growing business offering a secure long term future.\n\nRoles and Responsibilities:\n\n• Previous account management experience.\n• Previous experience with Sage and be able to prepare: Accurate monthly management accounts and Year-end information for auditors to prepare accounts.\n• Check emails and respond to queries.\n• Raise and send sales invoices to clients.\n• Print electronic supplier invoices and statements.\n• Stamp and code jobs - all supplier invoices.\n• Enter all invoices to Sage.\n• Check supplier statements match with amounts per Sage.\n• Enter credit card statements and reconcile.\n• Enter staff expense claims, correctly claim VAT if applicable and reimburse staff.\n• Project reports for Managers as required.\n• Preparing monthly management accounts.\n• Reconcile bank accounts regularly.\n• Supplier payments.\n• Update cash flow and cashbook regularly.\n• Cash flow, Debtors and Creditors reports, P&L etc - monthly.\n• Weekly finance meeting.\n• Prepare and submit VAT Returns quarterly to HMRC.\n• Year-end adjustments and communication with Accountants.\n• Assist in the management of the companies purchasing.\n\nFor full details please contact Ben
