The Memorial Fixing Manager is responsible for overseeing the planning, leadership, and quality assurance of memorial fixing operations. This includes various memorial products, such as headstones, monuments, plaques, and other commemorative items, including Stone Sign products or other masonry products sold by any other part of the business. This includes planning, coordinating and supervising all aspects of the production process, from product design to final delivery and ensuring the correct high-level of quality control throughout the whole process and final product. This role will collaborate with many other positions across the department to ensure our customers are satisfied. Key Responsibilities: Contributing to the daily fixing planning schedule Ensuring quality control by implementing measures to ensure the fixing quality is the highest standard Reviewing completed jobs daily, and feeding back to crews to help them develop and improve standards Managing fixing crews approx. 5 crews,10 employees total - this includes all people management aspects Ensuring all crews are accountable & efficient - all crews on the road by 8am, vehicles cleaned at the end of the day, reloaded, fully fuelled. Identifying and resolving fixing problems Occasionally visiting site to inspect work in person Maintaining memorial vehicles Maintaining a safe work environment, ensuring crews are following correct PPE protocols and utilising equipment available Working closely with the Memorial Production Manager to ensure departments are coordinated and fixing crews have all they need to complete their lists Monitoring fixing metrics and reporting on them Keeping up with industry trends What we're looking for: Proven experience in a management role, ideally within a similar role/environment Experience in people management Proven track record of consistently delivering high-quality output on time and to spec Understanding of quality standards and health & safety regulations. Experience in reporting on key production metrics. Proficient in MS Office. Outstanding communication ability. Excellent organizational and leadership skills. Attention to detail. Strong decision-making skills and a results-driven approach.
