Your daily life:
You will act as a hybrid sales and product specialist for creating relationships with new as well as supporting existing customers and commercial partners for the Installed Sensor (IS) business within Sensor Networks/EddyFi. You will be a hybrid role consisting of many different aspects of marketing, sales, and technical services for the new and existing installed sensor customer base. The main function you will be tasked, is to develop the go-to-market strategy across the Middle East – direct customers, key account management, commercial partners, or otherwise. You will also be responsible for strategically and selectively onboarding dealers and commercial partners as well as training and managing relationships with not only the commercial partners but with key end user asset owners to drive business, forecast, and ensure their experience with installed sensors is successful throughout the ITO to OTR process.
In this role, you will:
Commercial Responsibilities:
* Develop & execute commercial strategies for the Middle East market.
* Key account management.
* Managing distributors/partners.
* Forecasting.
* Achieving sales targets.
* Gain insight to competitors to aid in furthering current and new SNI products.
* Lead inquiry-to-order (ITO) aspects:
* Forecasting
* Prospecting
* Lead generation
* Lead qualification
* Demonstration/customer meetings
* Quotations
* Closing orders
* Oversee order-to-remittance (OTR) aspects:
* Liaise with factory for supply chain management (SCM)/delivery of equipment
* Installations with OPS lead to coordinate deployment
* Collections when necessary
Service Responsibilities:
* Aid in new product installations (when necessary in collaboration with OPS lead).
* Aid in maintenance on existing products, training, etc. with end users or dealers.
* Work with OPS lead to train customers/partners how to service equipment.
Marketing Responsibilities:
* Attend trade shows & industry events.
* Support marketing literature creation/deployment.
* Aid in marketing, industry awareness, and prospecting of target customers.
What We’re Looking For:
* Bachelor’s degree – preferred ME, EE, IE.
* Minimum 3-5 years of Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) or corrosion management sales and operations experience.
* Industry experience: Oil & Gas, Power Generation, Pulp & Paper, Aerospace.
* Understands industrial wireless/communication protocols is desired.
* Familiar with Ultrasound Technology (UT), level I or II desired.
* Ability to travel at least 50% and accommodate a flexible work schedule.
* Coachable – fast learning curve, able to take direction while also provide feedback.
* Self-starter, motivated, exuberant, energetic.
* Works well with others, team player, ‘people person’.
* Public speaking ability.
* High communication skills.
* Executive and technician presence.
