Computer Science/ IT/ Business Studies teacher – September start – Rochdale
A dedicated and passionate Computer Science/ IT/ Business Studies Teacher is required to work at a popular secondary school in Rochdale, Greater Manchester, the school would like the successful applicant to join them full time from September, teaching key stage 3 & 4 classes, on an ongoing basis, likely to be for the full academic year on a full time basis. There could then be an opportunity to become permanent for the right person.
This position is five days a week, full time, and is open to ECTs as well as experienced teachers.
You will be expected to become fully involved within the department & school, like a permanent member of staff, and attend departmental meetings when required, and be available for parents’ evenings as well as planning and delivering captivating, high standard lessons that will stretch the pupils in their learning.

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Degree educated with a good classification, preferably in Computer Science/ IT/ Business Studies
Secondary QTS (PGCE, SCITT,, QTS, etc) in Computer Science/ IT/ Business Studies
Previous experience working with young people (which we can reference)
Experience of teaching in a Secondary School (which we can reference)
Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (essential, we can provide the training)
Up to date Prevent awareness training issued in the last 3 years (essential, again, we can provide the training)
Up to date behaviour management & FGM training (essential, however, training can be provided).
