Penguin Recruitment is delighted to be supporting a is a well-established and well-regarded Property Consultancy in the South West on the hire of a Town Planner .
Our client has over 20 offices and 200 staff throughout the region and works on diverse projects across the residential, commercial and agricultural sectors.
In this role, the Town Planner will have the opportunity to take responsibility for your own caseload and there would also be the opportunity to work to secure new instructions and contribute to the growth of the department.
The Town Planner will have the following:
1. A relevant degree (or equivalent)
2. Planning experience (from either the private or public sector)
3. RTPI/RICS qualified (or working towards this)
4. A sound knowledge of residential, commercial and agricultural planning
5. The confidence to manage your own caseload (with the support of the wider team)
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
7. Attention to detail
8. Knowledge/experience of planning within the South West (preferable but not essential)
