Job title: Head of Income Generation Permanent, full time/37.5 hours per week (would consider 4 days/30 hours per week) Salary: £53,755 per annum (full time)/£43,004 (part time) Location: office-based in Hexham, Northumberland with the potential of some home/hybrid working About Us Tynedale Hospice at Home is a well-established charity of over 30 years. Our services include home-based end of life nursing care, patient transport, complementary therapies and bereavement support. All of our services are provided free of charge. As a charity, we receive less than 4% statutory funding and rely on the generosity of our community and the effectiveness of our income generation activities to operate. The Role We are looking for a dynamic, experienced, and dedicated individual to join our leadership team as Head of Income Generation. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in generating the essential income required to sustain and grow a valued local charity that makes a significant difference to the lives of our service users and their families. Job Purpose: To be operationally responsible for the Income Generation Department including Fundraising, Retail and Volunteering. To provide operational and strategic leadership to sustainably develop and grow the Hospice’s income generation activities including fundraising and retail operations. To develop Comms & Marketing activities, ensuring that the Hospice is effectively promoted and fully benefiting from the support of the local community. To develop the Hospice’s volunteer workforce to support the delivery of its strategy. To identify and develop new income streams to support the sustainable growth of the Hospice. To act as a role model as part of the Senior Management Team (SMT), living the Hospice values and promoting a continuous improvement culture.
