Our client is seeking a highly skilled Agile Business Analyst to join their team. This is a high-profile role, working closely with the Software Development team, key stakeholders, and subject matter experts to design and deliver functional and non-functional requirements for business-critical software solutions.
About the Role
As an Agile Business Analyst, you will play a key role in driving business transformation by shaping software solutions that align with strategic objectives. You will work iteratively, engaging with teams across the organisation to refine business processes, enhance functionality, and prioritise requirements that deliver the highest value. Your expertise will directly contribute to the development of scalable, secure, and high-performing applications.
What You Will Be Doing
* Collaborate with subject matter experts and stakeholders to understand business requirements and optimise processes.
* Conduct value-based analysis to prioritise the product backlog, ensuring maximum ROI.
* Develop clear and comprehensive user stories and acceptance criteria to guide the development team.
* Work with Agile Development Teams to recommend solutions that enhance application architecture and performance.
* Ensure documentation and development tools are kept up to date to support smooth implementation.
* Support engineering teams during software releases, ensuring quality and compliance.
* Drive software quality assurance by participating in planning sessions and collaborating with QA teams.
* Contribute to both Agile and Waterfall projects, ensuring proper documentation and timely updates.
* Support release management by coordinating checkpoints and ensuring continuous integration and deployment.
* Maintain the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of business systems and data in line with industry best practices.
What We’re Looking For
* Professional qualifications such as Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) .
* Hands-on experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
* Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle and modern software architectures.
* Awareness of information security best practices, including OWASP vulnerabilities and ISO 27001 compliance.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to present complex ideas clearly.
* Proven ability to manage multiple projects, prioritising tasks effectively to deliver business value.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess and mitigate risks.
* A proactive, adaptable, and self-motivated approach to work.
