The role
As a Project Controller, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You will join a new team working on a complex & challenging engineering project in the nuclear sector, within a nuclear related infrastructure development project.
Day-to-day, you’ll develop, implement, and maintain Project Baseline Budgets alongside regular cost and Earned Value (EV) reporting. You will also:
1. Support Project Planning through development, baselining and maintenance of the integrated project schedule
2. Prepare and deliver weekly and monthly performance reports along with detailed analysis
3. Collaborate with Risk Managers to develop and maintain Project Risk and Opportunity registers and mitigation actions
4. Assist the Change Specialist in implementing the change management process while ensuring alignment with business and contractual requirements
This role is full time, 36 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements.
Essential experience of the Project Controller
1. Relevant experience in a similar environment/business sector
2. Awareness of various contracting methodologies
3. Application of project control toolsets
4. Full project lifecycle experience
5. Worked on multiple projects of varying products and services and across a number of lifecycle phases
Qualifications for the Project Controller
1. Project Planning and Controls – Foundation
2. Project Fundamentals Qualification
Security Clearance
The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
