About the role:
We are currently seeking Teacher in A-Level Photography to join The Bedford Sixth Form.
As a Teacher you play an important role in the success of our students through:
1. Undertaking an agreed teaching commitment to develop students’ knowledge, skills, and understanding.
2. Engaging, and motivating students, fostering curiosity and enthusiasm for learning.
3. Planning, preparing and delivering high-quality lessons.
4. Providing timely assessments and feedback to help students improve their learning.
5. Contributing to achieving retention and success targets for courses taught.
About you:
Ideal candidates will have:
6. Degree in a relevant subject
7. Certificate in Education or equivalent in line with the Statutory Instrument
8. English and Maths or similar at GCSE grade A-C or equivalent Current experience of teaching A-Level Textiles.
9. Current experience of teaching A-Level Photography.
10. Experience of teaching in a Sixth Form or FE College environment with students 16 – 18 year olds
11. Experience of using ILT to enhance teaching and learning
12. Experience of working effectively with people from diverse backgrounds
13. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
