Job overview
We have an exciting opportunity for an efficient administrator to join our busy Community Equipment Team. We have a part time 22.5 hours per week and full time position 37.5 hours available.
The Successful candidates will have good organisation and people skills, be computer literate, and have the ability to work with limited supervision.
Candidates will have the ability to take calls and schedule equipment delivery and collections using Trust systems.
Candidates will be expected to work as a team, cover reception duties, demonstrate professionalism, be empathetic and understanding to service users.
This is a Community Clinical Support role, and there is an expectation for the successful candidates to be flexible and support across the Community Division.
Main duties of the job
* Provide effective and comprehensive administrative support in our busy Community Equipment Team.
* Use systems with specific responsibility to schedule deliveries and collections to service users.
* Answer the telephone professionally and respond to queries in a timely manner ensuring effective communication in line with local policies.
* Data cleanse and input accurate and timely information required for audit purposes.
* Work from other bases within the organisation and undertake any other duties that may be required appropriate to the post holder's grade, experience and competence.
* Provide cover for and undertake duties of absent colleagues as necessary.
* Undertake reception duties and support visitors to the service.

Detailed job description and main responsibilities
* Provide comprehensive administrative support to clinical teams.
* Use information systems with specific responsibility to ensure a high standard of information recording is maintained.
* Produce standardised computer generated reports and/or statistical information as requested by line manager.
* Type all correspondence relating to the team.
* Undertake general office duties, including ordering supplies and managing stock levels.
* Answer the telephone, clear answer-phone, record messages and respond to queries in a timely manner ensuring effective communication in line with local policies for non-clinical information only.
* Transfer relevant information to all health and social care providers as requested by line manager.
* Input accurate and timely information required for audit purposes.
* Provide reception support as and when required, including receiving clients to the service and assisting with enquiries.
* Take responsibility for keeping the Office/Reception/Waiting area clean and tidy.
* Be responsible for the opening and closing of buildings, if required.
* Co-operate with risk assessments and ensure that risks are identified and reported as they arise in the workplace.
* Work from other bases within the organisation and undertake any other duties that may be required appropriate to the post holder's grade, experience and competence.
