About the Marketing Coordinator role
We are looking for an enthusiastic and proactive marketing and office assistant to support our Sales and Marketing departments. You will develop and implement digital and marketing activities as well as have administrative duties to support our professional and consumer customers.
Key Responsibilities for the Marketing Coordinator
1. Assist in all aspects of marketing campaigns, from basic office admin to supporting and developing marketing ideas.
2. Opportunity to contribute ideas and concepts for social media strategies, NPD and marketing campaigns.
3. Creating precise, performance-driven design briefs for the content creation team.
4. Develop activity for the social media channels for salons, professionals and the global distributor network.
5. Stock and sample library management.
6. Manage the online content library portal for our salon and distributor network.
7. Support the development of and implement the email marketing strategy for trade partners.
8. Help work on presentations for salon and stockist partners.
9. Proactively engage in community management, ensuring all social queries are responded to within agreed SLAs.
10. Ability to manage and respond to inbound messages on social channels in adherence to brand guidelines and tone of voice.
11. Support with customer enquiries, including monitoring orders and liaising with warehouse partners where required.
12. Support with Chatbot and Whatsapp customer product enquiries.
13. Support with organising and managing training and event calendars and ensuring all necessary assets are prepared and available for events.
14. Assist with the creation of training materials for the salon network.
15. Assist with completion of forms and documents for trade customers as required.
16. Assist sales with ad-hoc projects.
Requirements & Key Attributes – Skills & Requirements
1. At least 12 months relevant work experience in a similar role.
2. Results driven with a commitment to working to high standards.
3. Must be able to come into our office for regular meetings.
4. Strong desire to learn along with professional drive.
5. Knowledgeable in social media and social media advertising.
6. Marketing/Digital knowledge in the beauty industry is a plus.
7. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
8. Excellent creative writing skills particularly for social media and email newsletters.
9. Knowledge of the Web, PowerPoint, Word, Excel & Outlook.
10. Intermediate experience with Adobe packages (Photoshop & InDesign).
11. Knowledge of basic photo editing skills would be a bonus.
12. Initiate and develop streamlined systems and processes.
13. Takes direction to ensure thorough preparation to meet delivery requirements.
14. Demonstrates best practice in managing communications and quality standards.
