Details Hours: 17.5 hours per week | Term Time plus 3 weeks Working 3pm to 6.30pm Contract: Permanent Start Date: ASAP Salary: Grade 1, Point 2 Opportunity We are looking to appoint a cleaner to join and support our dedicated Premises Team. The purpose of this role is to To ensure a high standard of cleanliness is maintained in the academy to ensure there is a clean and tidy environment for all students and staff. Carry out cleaning duties including, but not limited to; sweeping, dusting, wall washing, toilet cleaning, mopping and use of vacuum cleaner. To ensure any furniture, materials, equipment or structural defects are correctly reported. To ensure that Health & Safety requirements are adhered to and appropriate systems and procedures are followed. The ideal candidate will Be self-motivated and able to work on their own initiative. Be willing and able to operate small hand tools, cleaning machinery, dishwashers etc. Ensure the correct equipment is used for each specific task. Willing to learn and put into practice COSHH (Care of Substances Harmful to Health) procedures. Set a good example in terms of dress, punctuality and attendance, wearing the appropriate clothing, footwear etc. for the tasks involved.
