Role purpose
As Head of Programmes at Avic Cabin Systems, you’ll have full responsibility for programme delivery, overseeing a portfolio of high-value, complex projects from concept to completion.
Reporting into the CEO, you will lead a team of programme and project managers, ensuring the programmes are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
The Head of Programmes will work in collaboration with leaders across Engineering, Commercial, Production, Procurement and Quality to ensure that programme objectives are achieved through effective management

As Head of Programmes you’ll:
• Be instrumental in transforming the business to a ‘Full Product Lifecycle Programs Lead’ which will be governed by lean processes ensuring output excellence
• Be the first point of contact within the company for all programme related escalations from customers and OEM’s
• Report to board level on programme performance in line with contract deliverables and budgets
• Establish collaboration both with internal stakeholders and customers externally to ensure a clear communication of programme requirements and timelines
• Identify and mitigate portfolio risks/issues
As Head of Programmes you’ll have:
• A Minimum of 5 years within programme management within complex manufacturing, ideally aviation or aerospace
• Strong leadership and mentoring skills
• A Project Management qualification
• A strategic mindset to drive results
• Commercial and financial acumen
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build relations with both internal and external stakeholders
