About Our Client

Job Description
* Supervise accounts and payroll staff, ensuring accurate financial data entry.
* Prepare monthly management accounts and year-end financial reports.
* Ensure compliance with VAT returns, Construction Industry Scheme (CIS), and other regulations.
* Manage fixed asset registers and account reconciliations.
* Authorise employee expenses and oversee payroll-related processes.
* Ensure the integrity of accounting systems and compliance with financial legislation.
* Work closely with the Finance Director and assist with risk management
The Successful Applicant
The successful Finance Manager should have:
* At least 5 years of experience in a similar accounting role.
* Holds an accounting qualification or equivalent experience.
* Strong Excel skills and experience with financial applications.
* Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
* Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
* High attention to detail, integrity, and problem-solving skills.
* Experience in the construction or house building industry is a plus

* £40-£50k annual salary (if you go permanent)
