The role To support the Director of Policy and Public Affairs in enhancing and maintaining Beyondly’s industry presence and ensure our customers, partners and service delivery teams stay ahead of evolving legislation. To support with everything from horizon scanning for new UK and International regulations, to coordinating consultation responses, and leading on policy-focused events and webinars. The responsibilities (there are more) Research and monitor upcoming environmental legislation and regulatory changes Communicate complex policy updates in accessible ways across service delivery teams and to customers Represent Beyondly in working groups, industry events, and steering committees Collaborate on events, webinars, and thought leadership opportunities Develop associated processes and procedures and provide content for our marketing literature Contribute to tenders and business development with policy expertise The perks Beyondly attributes its’ ongoing growth and success to its’ employees and is committed to rewarding and recognising their contribution as well as prioritising employee well-being and has won multiple awards over the last 5 years as a result of its’ approach to this. You will have a strong grasp of regulatory frameworks and will be skilled in translating complex, legislative developments into clear, engaging insights for a wide range of audiences. You will be a natural communicator, confident in building relationships with colleagues, clients and external stakeholders, playing an active role in representing Beyondly across industry groups, consultations and events. You will thrive on a varied role where no day is the same, effectively managing your time across policy research, stakeholder engagement and strategic input. You’ll bring a detail-oriented approach to your work while keeping a view of the bigger picture - spotting opportunities, managing risks, and contributing to business-wide objectives. You’ll be comfortable working independently and collaboratively, taking initiative while also supporting the team around you. To succeed in this role, you will be passionate about contributing to a purpose-led organisation and excited to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
