Were looking for a Commis Chef to join our talented team at the Riverside venue a beautiful venue where food, service, and scenery come together to create something special.
Potential opportunities for both full-time seasonal or part-time to fit around studies and other commitments
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assisting in the food preparation for both our Muddy Oar bar, Gallery Kitchen Restaurant & outdoor catering facilities.
Pride in maintaining standards of cleanliness and food/drink safety.
Setting up and serving food at events/ conferences.
Carry out any other ad-hoc duties or reasonable management requests when required
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
Professional Kitchen experience desirable, but not essential as full hands-on training will be provided.
Food Hygiene certificates and Health and Safety Regulations desirable but not essential as full training will be provided.
SKILLS:
Ability to multi-task in a busy environment, keeping a calm head when under pressure.
Able to work on ones own initiative and also as part of a team.
Excellent time management and communication skills.
Pride in providing a presentable working area and demonstrating high levels of customer service & a positive attitude.
Ability to take food orders, consistently demonstrating high levels of customer service and positive attitude.
