Job Title: Finance Master Data Controller

What you’ll be doing:
* Oversee the creation, maintenance, and governance of master data records for General Ledger accounts, profit centres, and cost centres across multiple ERP systems
* Support the deployment of a new Master Data Management tool, collaborating with IT and external vendors to ensure successful implementation
* Ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity of master data in alignment with corporate policies and compliance standards
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and document master data requirements
* Design and implement scalable workflows for creating, updating, and deactivating master data, with a focus on operational efficiency
Your skills and experiences:
Essential:
* Understanding of Chart of Accounts, the purpose of general ledger accounts, cost centres, and profit centres within financial systems, and how they interrelate with the business operations and reporting
* Experience in a master data management role, preferably within a finance function
* Knowledge of data governance frameworks and best practices
Desirable
* Finance or Accounting certifications (e.g., CIMA, ACCA) are an advantage
* Hands-on experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics; familiarity with Master Data Management tools

The Finance Master Data team:
This is a new role created within a new team, providing an opportunity to gain exposure to the wider business and make the role your own through showcasing your expertise within finance and master data tasks.
You will manage and govern the master data for general ledger (GL) accounts, profit centres, and cost centres across multiple ERP systems, this includes playing a pivotal role in supporting the implementation of a Master Data Management (MDM) tool, ensuring a seamless transition of processes, and introducing best-in-class workflows for data governance and standardisation.
