Guildhall Young Artists Taunton Music & Drama Tutors (various disciplines)
When: Saturdays in term time, 10 weeks per term in 2025/26, from September 2025 or November 2025
Remuneration: £39.50 per hour, self employed
Guildhall Young Artists Taunton (GYA Taunton) is one of Somerset’s most exciting Saturday performing arts centres offering a range of classes and performance opportunities for 5 to 18-year-olds in music and drama. Based at Richard Huish College, Taunton, young people develop their creativity and access high quality training across a variety of styles and genres.
As the centre is expanding, we are seeking additional tutors and wish to appoint an energetic and highly skilled team of tutors, top practitioners and industry professionals, across a variety of styles and genres to teach our U18 students, and to ensure that Guildhall Young Artists provides an excellent creative education.
We wish to appoint a diverse pool of dedicated and enthusiastic individuals with a proven track record in any of the following:
* Upper Strings Tutor for September 2025
* Piano Tutor for our pool of deputy tutors for September 2025
* Drama Tutor for maternity cover November 2025 to March 2026
The successful candidates will be committed to developing young students, from a variety of backgrounds, to reach their full potential.

Interviews will take place by arrangement on Monday 12 May 2025 and Tuesday 13 May 2025. If successful at interview, candidates will be invited to attend GYA Taunton on Saturday 17 May 2025 to deliver one 30-minute session which will be observed.
