Working Hours (Alternating Shift Pattern): Week 1: Monday - Friday: 6:00 am – 2:00 pm (30 min lunch) Week 2: Monday - Friday: 2:00 pm – 10:00 pm (30 min lunch) As a CNC Setter/Operator, your responsibilities will include: Setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC machines to ensure precision manufacturing Following engineering drawings and machining processes to ensure accurate production Collaborating with engineers, machinists, and quality inspectors to optimize production Escalating machine malfunctions and implementing corrective actions to minimise downtime Achieving and logging daily output targets, identifying and resolving issues that may cause delays Conducting self-inspections of finished parts to ensure quality standards are met As a CNC Setter/Operator, your experience will include: A background in metal cutting, either milling and turning experience Ideally, having completed an apprenticeship or another relevant qualification.
