Job overview
Tieve Tara Medical Centre is a unique and long-established GP practice in the heart of Yorkshire, serving a community of 5,000 patients. In 2021 the practice became part of Spectrum Community Health CIC; an award-winning social enterprise with a reputation for innovative work with disadvantaged populations across the North.
Main duties of the job
* If you are passionate about providing high quality healthcare and tackling health inequalities in new and exciting ways.
* If you want to come and work alongside an already motivated and inspiring multidisciplinary practice team that includes Physicians Associate, Practice Pharmacist, and a highly skilled Practice Nursing team, we would love to hear from you.
You will have the support of Spectrum Community Health CIC and opportunities to integrate and be part of a wider community of clinicians with special interests including sexual health, academic research, substance misuse, and public health.
We aim to be flexible in matching your availability with our work patterns and the needs of the service and therefore we are also able to offer part time and flexible working options.

Education and Training
* UK recognised medical qualification
* Recognised Certificate of Vocational Training
* Evidence of ongoing professional development in the relevant clinical and service improvement areas
* Higher specialist qualifications or extensive relevant experience
* Current accreditation at GPwSI level in specialist area
* RCGP Certificate Part 1 and 2
* Substance Misuse · Women’s health and wellbeing
Knowledge and Experience
* Primary care mental health; · Basic drug and alcohol awareness
* Chronic disease management
* Understanding of current health and social policy
* Understanding of clinical risk management and governance
* Principles of substance misuse treatment and pharmacotherapy
* Understanding of principles & research
* Understanding of NHS clinical governance/GP contracts/medicines management and resource constraints/financial management
