Location: Great Yarmouth
Responsible to: Operations Manager / Assistant Operations Manager
Responsible for: All Electrical installations and repairs and other maintenance
Major Job Objective:
Installation, upkeep and maintenance of electrical equipment within an amusement park environment.
Duties:
1. To carry out new installations
2. To maintain and repair current installations
3. To carry out ride assembly and dismantling at required times
4. To carry out ride maintenance
5. To clean and repair any electrical equipment or facility requiring attention.
6. To carry out daily ride inspections
7. To monitor, test, and certificate seasonal ride operators, as required
8. To assist in ride operation, if and when necessary.
9. To use all equipment and tools under H & S regulations
10. To work in a safe manner regarding self, work colleagues, and members of the public
11. To ensure working area is kept clear of excess materials and tools
12. To carry out electrical work at other venues operated by the company
13. To carry out any other duties commensurate with this post.
SKILLS AND APTITUDES REQUIRED INCLUDE:
1. To have the ability to read and use electrical drawings
2. To be trained in 18th Edition BS 7671 standard (desirable)
3. To have strong diagnostic skills
4. To have experience of electrical testing (PAT)
5. To have knowledge of AC/DC drives and their associated motors or pumps and PLC fault-finding
6. To have experience working with hydraulics and pneumatics
Hours:
Winter hours: Monday - Friday 07:00am - 16:00pm.
Peak hours: Varied from Monday - Sunday with 2 weekdays off. #J-18808-Ljbffr
