You will be required to lead and manage the carbon strategy for the Agent by developing a programme that will reduce the agent's energy use and carbon footprint and implement sustainable methods of managing the portfolio of property, fleet and highway assets. To provide expertise and knowledge of the science, policies, technologies and environmental interventions associated with climate change including the international context and evidence base for carbon reduction targets. Monitor key changes in legislation and Welsh Government policy and identify any impacts these may have on the agent’s operations. Collaborate proactively and effectively across service and organisational boundaries and build a strong network of committed stakeholders to deliver the Welsh Government’s carbon reduction targets. To develop business cases, bids and proposals to secure Welsh Government and external funding where possible
You will be based at The Quays, Neath Port Talbot – Hybrid

Welsh Language skills are not required.
