We are seeking outdoor education instructors to work in local secondary schools as cover supervisors
About the role
As a Cover Supervisor, you will:
* Supervise and support students in the absence of regular teaching staff, ensuring a calm and focused learning environment.
* Cover lessons – This could be in a range of subjects including PE.
* Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies during cover lessons.
* Collaborate with teaching staff to ensure the best possible teaching experience for the young people
* Ensure the safety and well-being of all students during About You

* Is confident leading groups of young people in both outdoor and classroom settings.
* Possesses excellent communication and organisational skills.
* Is enthusiastic about inspiring students to reach their full potential through hands-on learning experiences.

* Has a strong understanding of safeguarding and health and safety requirements.
* Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Requirements
To be considered for the role of outdoor Education Instructor you will:
* Holds at least GCSE-level qualifications in English and Mathematics.
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
* 5 days experience working with young people
