Our company is in its 16 th year of supplying specialist personnel throughout Scotland and beyond! We believe in the power of people and the ability to work in a moral, ethical way. Our team comes first, last, and everything in between.
We take chances with people looking to get into recruitment, either as their first job after Uni or as a career change. Join us as a Trainee and hopefully, you will fall in love with recruitment as we have.
The central role of a Graduate Trainee Recruitment Consultant focuses on communication, both verbal and written. You need to be good at building relationships with clients and candidates, both face to face and on telephone/video calls. It will involve sales through business development, alongside utilising entrepreneurial skills in order to build your specialist section. As a trainee role, you will be mentored, but you need to have the self-confidence to throw yourself into the role from day one.
We are a very supportive team and believe in working together so everyone can reach their potential while the business as a whole pushes forward. The initial graduate training programme lasts 12 months and is broadly mentor-based while working through your training matrix. Performance reviews are held regularly so you will always know how you are getting on and what to focus on next. Once your traineeship is complete, you will be ready to start your CertRP, an industry-recognised recruitment qualification.
Our Trainees are paid a basic salary plus commission on all fees, and within the first year, you would expect to earn between £29,000 and £33,000 (based on first-year P60 figures). The commission is uncapped, which would suit a high achiever. As we operate a meritocracy, your package will increase as you develop. Our varied career opportunities suit those interested in people management or business management.
We are looking for someone who is genuinely nice, not scared to get stuck in, and has the drive and ambition to work hard. A driver's licence is needed as business meetings are becoming more common. Please research the role, and if you are interested, send in your CV with a covering letter letting us know why you are interested in the role and what skills you think you have to offer.
Please note that we generally get a lot of interest, so we will not be able to respond to those who have not included a covering letter, as generic applications don’t work for us.
If you have already applied for this role, there is no need to send in a further application.
