Due to our continued growth, we are looking for a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our Thurnscoe facility. You’ll play a crucial role in ensuring all products meet our high-quality standards and customer specifications while adhering to company policies and safety procedures. Key Responsibilities Safety First: Maintain a safe working environment in line with company policies and procedures. Precision Work: Accurately read and interpret technical drawings provided by the design team. Welding Expertise: Perform MIG or TIG welding processes as per project requirements. Fabrication Tools: Operate fabrication equipment such as press brakes, guillotines, rollers, and pillar drills to prepare materials. Quality Control: Inspect completed welds for defects, ensuring they meet company and industry standards. Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine inspections on welding tools and equipment. Team Collaboration: Work closely with the fabrication team to meet project deadlines and production targets. Process Improvement: Offer suggestions to improve welding processes and product quality. Clean & Organized Work Area: Maintain an orderly workspace in line with our high standards of efficiency and safety. Qualifications & Experience City & Guilds or N/SVQ Level 3 in a relevant discipline. Proven experience in steel fabrication and various welding techniques. Strong understanding of metal properties and fabrication methods. Ability to maintain high safety standards and ensure quality in every project.
