Team Teulu is our local authority approach to family engagement. As we approach our third year of delivery, we are looking to recruit three new Learning Community Managers to continue our recognised good practice approaches in the Neath and Dulais valleys, and support roll out into two new communities.
The Learning Community Manager will be supported by the wider Community Focused Schools team to steer the development of Team Teulu across the Neath and Port Talbot valleys, enhancing family engagement opportunities across all schools within learning communities. Successful candidates will ensure consistency in approaches while tailoring strategies to meet the unique needs of each school community.
We are looking for strategic thinkers with a creative streak, who can demonstrate an ability to work in collaboration with other services across the local authority through our Learning Community networks. The post holders will bring their energy and people skills to represent our core values to our stakeholders, with particular focus on pupil and family voice, and feeding back our impact and outcomes to all.
You will be responsible for managing a team of term-time Family Engagement Officers to deliver the Welsh Government Community Focused Schools agenda, with a particular focus on developing positive, pro-active and preventative approaches to supporting families.
If you think that you have the necessary experience and qualifications for this role, we would love to hear from you.
