Working in this heavily industrial manufacturing business you will be responsible for all proactive and reactive maintenance. You will be part of a small close knit team and you will need to be proactive with your approach to fit in well. Based on the outskirts of Lancaster with easy access to the M6 Lancaster the role offers a 2 days, 2 nights on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern offering a great work life balance. Duties of this Electrically Bias Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer role: To provide an electrical engineering service to the production team and achieve minimum down time Proactive response in carrying out preventative maintenance duties Ensuring you are commercially aware of budget and there is the right amount of spares Look at ways you can continuously improve efficiency and down time To encourage, motivate and inspire apprentices and trainees Maintaining a safe working environment and highlighting any safety concerns Qualifications and personality requirements of a Electrically Bias Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer: You must hold a recognised engineering apprentice (NVQ, BTEC or C&G) Multi-skilled experience is desirable 70/30 electrical bias is preferred Experience of Siemens S7 and ELAU controls is advantageous but not essential Ability to work to tight deadlines and under pressure Benefits of this Electrically Bias Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer role: A base salary of £47,653.13 per annum, plus the opportunity for paid overtime A holiday allowance of 21 shifts, inclusive of bank holidays, with incremental increases linked to service length Access to a company pension scheme and complimentary onsite parking Employee assistance service For those ready to take on this electrical maintenance role?, please reach out to Sarah Armstrong at Maintech Recruitment by calling (phone number removed).
