Title: A&D Consultant (Business Development Manager)

About The Role
To proactively generate specifications & sales all channels – Retail & Contracts.
Responsibilities
* Identifying prospective A&D practices within a specified radius of each showroom/geographical growth area
* Develop awareness of the brand with new and existing A&D practices through direct contact with A&Ds
* Create a community of new A&D clients within the agreed geographical area of growth
* To ensure sales and margins targets are hit through generating leads and closing sales
* To proactively develop new sales leads and work with the wider team to generate new business for the showroom and Contracts department
* To maintain a current level of awareness of what is happening within the bathroom industry
* Organise and host regular trade events at the showroom and in the UK and abroad
* Monitor and manage success of new and existing prospects through CRM
* Identify and deliver prestigious projects within the UK to build and maintain reputation and brand values
* Monitor and control the project tender process from inception with the aligned Architect through to creating relationship with the named Contractors/QS
* Build and maintain good relationships with key Suppliers to support increased project conversion through the registration process
* Support Showroom Directors & Contract Directors with performance improvement across the departments
* To continually seek to develop your own skills
* To carry out any other reasonable management request
Requirements:
* Bathroom specification experience selling directly into Architects & Interior Designers
* Articulate with exceptional organisation & presentation skills
* Driven and self-motivated
* Team player
