We are seeking an enthusiastic Project Coordinator to deliver the core activities of our HEAT Project throughout this coming autumn and winter until the funding period ends on 31st March 2025,
or if further funding is obtained, for longer.
The HEAT Project Coordinator role will involve organising and coordinating:
• the energy skills training campaign for our volunteer force
• incoming requests from New Forest residents for energy advice or thermal-imaging visits
• our home energy advice visits and our thermal-imaging visits to households and village halls
• energy advice events, talks, pop-up advice sessions etc
and taking responsibility for:
• ensuring all training events, energy events and home energy/thermal imaging visits are
delivered smoothly and successfully
• creating and maintaining databases of all relevant data for keeping the project running
smoothly and efficiently
• monitoring the HEAT project’s day-to-day progress and budget situation and regularly
reporting on this to New Forest Transition and its partner organisations
• building in continual improvement to the HEAT project’s activities and processes
• carrying out other activities as may be reasonably required to enable the project to be
successfully delivered within the given timeframe
The short-term nature of this role makes it ideal for a university gap-year student or a recent
graduate, or someone on a career break or recently-retired. Whilst not essential, a strong interest in
science and technology and energy saving would be very helpful.
