Role Overview As Credit Manager, you will be responsible for leading the credit control and credit risk functions within the business. Your role will focus on maximising cash flow, reducing risk, and ensuring the efficient collection of outstanding payments, all while supporting and developing the credit control team. Key Responsibilities Oversee the day-to-day management of the credit control team, ensuring efficient operations. Set cash collection and aged debt reduction targets for the team, monitoring performance. Conduct regular ledger reviews and provide financial risk assessments. Report monthly financial results to senior management, identifying areas of concern. Review and approve new customer applications, ensuring compliance with credit policies. Monitor customer credit risk profiles, identifying and addressing potential risks. Manage the retrospective rebate process, providing reports for senior management. Escalate any key risks, concerns, or unresolved queries that may impact cash flow. What We’re Looking For CICM qualified professional with experience in credit control leadership. Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels. Highly organised, with the ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
