Job Title: Electrical Maintenance Engineer
Excellent opportunity for an experienced Electrical Maintenance Operative from a manufacturing/engineering environment. We have worked with this client for several years; they offer a first-class working environment and the opportunity to work in the Manufacturing sector.
Electrical Maintenance Engineer Main Duties:
1. Previous experience of working in a similar environment with similar role responsibilities.
2. A good working knowledge and understanding of factory processes and technology.
3. Previous experience of working towards improving and maintaining quality standards.
4. Knowledge of PLC, AC drives, and servo drives.
5. Familiar with all types of factory equipment including CNC machines, conventional machines, and associated plant.
6. Familiar with planned and preventive maintenance.
7. Knowledge of robots would be advantageous.
8. Multi-skilled in basic mechanical practices.
9. Welding skills would be preferred.
10. Foundry experience is desirable.
They require an Electrical Maintenance Engineer with a minimum of 5 years experience.
Qualifications / Skills / Experience:
You must have served an electrical maintenance apprenticeship within a machine shop environment.
Salary / Hourly Rates:
Day Shift: £18.56 (Monday - Thursday 07:30 - 16:15 and Friday 07:30 - 12:30)
Twilight Shift: £23.69 (Monday - Thursday 15:30 - 23:30 and Friday 12:00 - 18:00)
Overtime rate is x1.5 and then x2.0 for Sunday of the day rate.
