We are currently seeking a dedicated, professional, and personable Head Receptionist to lead our Front Desk team at Best Western Premier Suites. As the first point of contact for our guests, you’ll be the face of the hotel—setting the tone for a five-star guest experience from arrival to departure.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Supervise and support a small team of receptionists, ensuring excellent service delivery at all times
2. Oversee daily front desk operations, ensuring smooth check-ins, check-outs, and guest satisfaction
3. Handle guest complaints and resolve issues efficiently and professionally
4. Train, coach, and motivate front desk staff
5. Prepare departmental rotas and manage holiday requests in line with business needs
6. Liaise closely with housekeeping, maintenance, and management to ensure seamless operations
7. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of hotel products, services, room types, and rates
8. Carry out end-of-day banking and daily reports accurately
What We’re Looking For:
1. Previous experience in a supervisory role within a hotel reception/front office team (minimum 2 years preferred)
2. Confident leader with a passion for delivering exceptional guest service
3. Organised, proactive, and calm under pressure
4. Strong communication skills and a professional demeanour
5. Good knowledge of PMS systems (experience with Guestline/Rezlynx is an advantage)
6. Flexibility to work a variety of shifts including weekends and holidays
