Job Title: Area Sales Manager - HVAC Building Services
Industry Sector: HVAC, M&E, MEP Contractors, Building Services
Area to be covered: South Wales & South West
Remuneration: £50,000-£55,000 basic Neg. + £10,000-£15,000 Bonus

Role Responsibilities:
1. Field sales role promoting a manufactured and distributed range of HVAC full systems including gas water heaters, storage solutions, space heaters, air source heat pumps, and solar thermal systems.
2. Targeting commercial projects where significant water consumption occurs, such as schools, sports & leisure facilities, hotels, care homes, food & beverage establishments, and salons.
3. Spending approximately 60%-70% of your time building relationships with around 40 large MEP Contractors, M&E contractors, HVAC plumbing & heating contractors/installers.
4. Spending the remaining 30-40% of your time selling through approximately 12 specification M&E consultants, local authorities, and architects.
5. Conducting 1-2 CPD presentations per week in the long term.
6. Focusing predominantly on new business development and selling new products.
7. Targeted to achieve sales of approximately £350,000-£400,000.
8. Engaging in top-down selling, breaking into the specification market by targeting end users, local authorities, and M&E consultants.
9. KPI's will include project tracking, CPD's, and forecasting.
10. Managing orders up to £250,000 (for multiple heaters on large sites such as university campuses) with an average order value of £30,000.
Ideal Applicant Qualifications:
1. Commercial HVAC field sales background from the plumbing & heating building services sector.
2. HVAC specification field sales experience with M&E consultants, MEP Contractors, local authorities, or architects.
3. Technically minded with the ability to present CPD's and track projects.
4. Ideally knowledgeable about full HVAC systems, including hot water circuits, gas flues, and boilers.
5. Preferred knowledge of gas water heaters, air source heat pumps, storage solutions, space heaters, gas fires, and solar thermal systems (full product training will be provided).
6. Excellent listening skills.
7. A team player with passion and enthusiasm.
8. Ambitious and driven.
9. Autonomous.
