We are looking to recruit a number of Mechanical Project Engineers and Mechanical Project Managers Applications are invited from Contracts / Projects Engineers or Managers who have worked with special purpose, process related equipment, i.e. from an EPC contractor or machinery manufacturer for a minimum of two years. Alternatively, candidates could currently be or have previously works as a mechanical design engineer with elements of project responsibilities. In addition, exposure to rotating equipment such as pumps, turbines, compressors, drilling equipment etc. is likely to prove of additional interest. You will be a degree qualified engineer in a mechanically biased subject. It is essential that you have experience of the design and build of machinery. Typically, the project values associated with this contract are between £250k and £5 million. Mechanical Project Engineer / Manager - Main Duties:To manage orders, achieving client satisfaction in terms of delivery and technicalTo co - ordinate the Contract Information System Computer Format, ensuring commercial profit margins areTo provide customer service by anticipating and responding to customer queriesTo manage and motivate all resources allocated to the project, therefore enabling a successful completion.To raise internal sales orders and to operate Procedures for the release ofTo raise purchase orders with sub - suppliers mitigating all commercial and contractual risks. Check and authoriseTo co - ordinate and expedite materials, documents, inspections, deliveryTo co - ordinate customer\\\'s expeditors and any external inspectors, including any necessary documentationTo prepare programmes and plan productionTo facilitate order amendments C.I.S. quotes, designTo attend progress meetings internal and at job siteTo generate special payment invoicesTo prepare manuals operations and maintenanceTo co - ordinate any necessary spare parts schedules includingTo co - ordinate and attend when required witness testing group companies and vendorsTo undertake ad hoc projects as requiredPrepare monthly project reviews giving accurate projections of project costs and subsequent outturn margins.To prepare project cashflow More details available upon request.
