Part-Time PPA Teacher – Hounslow We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Part-Time PPA Teacher to join our welcoming and inclusive primary school in Hounslow. This role involves delivering high-quality lessons across EYFS, Key Stage 1, and Key Stage 2, providing effective cover during teachers' PPA time. Key Responsibilities: Deliver engaging and well-structured lessons in accordance with the National Curriculum, ensuring continuity of learning for all pupils. Adapt teaching methods and resources to meet the needs of diverse learners, including those with SEND and EAL. Establish and maintain high expectations for behaviour and learning, promoting a positive and inclusive classroom environment. Work collaboratively with class teachers and support staff to ensure effective lesson delivery and pupil progress. Provide constructive feedback and assess pupil progress in line with school policies. Foster a love for learning by using creative and innovative teaching strategies. Essential Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – Essential. Enhanced DBS Check – Required before appointment. Previous experience teaching across EYFS, Key Stage 1, and Key Stage 2. Strong classroom management skills with the ability to engage and motivate pupils. A flexible and adaptable approach to teaching in different year groups and subject areas. Excellent communication and organisational skills. Desirable Skills & Attributes: Experience working in a mainstream primary setting. Knowledge of differentiation strategies to support pupils with varying abilities. Ability to build strong relationships with pupils, staff, and parents.
