CNC Operator
Due to the expansion of their machine shop, Phoenix Tavinor Engineering is looking to hire a CNC machine operator. The job role consists mainly of the following:
1. Loading/unloading raw cast iron parts to machine fixtures.
2. Deburring parts to remove sharp edges.
3. Gauging parts using basic attribute gauges (Go/NoGo).
4. Packing parts to correct specifications.
Working hours are Mon-Fri 05:45 - 14:00 with a 10min paid break and a 15min unpaid break (40 paid hrs). This is a permanent role, and they need a reliable individual. Excellent timekeeping and attendance are critical in a manufacturing environment. Full training will be provided.
They offer 31 days holiday per year and uniform to be provided on completion of the probationary period.
Requirements:
1. Good English and numeracy skills with attention to detail.
2. Previous experience would be advantageous but not essential.
3. Ability to work in a team and follow instructions accurately and consistently.
Starting rate is £11.44/hr rising to £12.21 in April. #J-18808-Ljbffr
