Are you passionate about delivering exceptional customer service? Steer Automotive Group is looking for a Customer Service Advisor to join our front-of-house team at our Durham site.

About the Role:
As a Customer Service Advisor, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, delivering outstanding service both face-to-face, over the phone, and via email. You’ll ensure that each customer feels confident that their vehicle is in safe hands, and you'll play a key role in maintaining our high standards of customer satisfaction.
Your main responsibilities will include:
* Greeting customers warmly and professionally.
* Managing the customer journey, including handling complaints and resolutions.
* Answering incoming phone calls and directing them as necessary.
* Updating customers regularly on the progress of their vehicle repairs.
* Assisting with inquiries, concerns, and feedback.
* Maintaining an organised and tidy reception area.
* Handling administrative tasks such as filing paperwork and updating records.
* Supporting insurers and customers by providing fast, efficient service.
* Keeping computer systems and portals updated.
About You:
The ideal candidate will have experience in a customer service role, with excellent communication skills, and a proactive, positive attitude.
Key skills and qualifications:
* Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively in person, over the phone, and by email.
* Strong organisational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
* Experience with administration and computer systems, such as MS Office.
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
* Familiarity with the local area to assist with transport logistics.
