What You’ll be Involved in As a Shipping Administrator at Teledyne Energetics, you will be an essential part of our business support team. You will be responsible for the processing and coordination of all UK and international shipments, managing documentation, liaising with carriers, our trade compliance team and our internal manufacturing and development teams and maintaining a high standard of accuracy in all shipping-related processes. Key responsibilities of the role include: Coordination and processing of shipments. Management and maintenance of shipping documentation, product documentation, associated records and files. Communication with carriers, internal team and customers to ensure on-time deliveries. Assisting in customs compliance and documentation for international shipments Administration of product jurisdiction and classification documentation relating to export of controlled goods What We’re Looking for in You The successful candidate will possess strong administration skills, ideally gained within an engineering/technical product environment, along with strong communication skills to allow for good interactions with the internal and external teams. Other desirable skills and experience include: Experienced in use of ERP / MRP software, preferably SAP. Proven experience within shipping and logistics or a related field. Strong organisational and time management skills. Attention to detail and a commitment to maintain high accuracy. Familiarity with customs compliance and international shipping regulations. Due to the nature of this role, you must be able to gain full UK Security clearance once in the business.
